In File Search 7.0, Admins users can now give access permissions to other users on asset groups and tags you see in Browse and File Search. These permissions are additive to a user's User Role, or will automatically create new access rules on a User Role.

How and Where to Add User Permissions in File Search
Easily enable a user or user role to view a Production, Department, Category, or specific Asset Group in File Search with a simple right click.
Right Click on a Tag Within Browse
Right clicking on a tag within Browse will bring up the Grant Access option. If the tag is a parent tag to other tags, the user or user role will receive access to that tag and all child tags below it.

Right Click on the File Path of an Asset Group
Right clicking on the file path of an Asset Group to give user access to that specific Asset Group.
Grant Access Feature: Give a User or Users Access Permissions
Once you have clicked Grant Access, the menu appears. You can limit to Can View or Can Edit as illustrated below.
Users : Add users to whom the access needs to be given. Multiple users can be added at same time.
Can View : Users are allowed to view the files associated with the single Asset Group, or the tag and all files nested under it.
Can Edit : Users can view, edit tags, and delete files
Other Permissions Toggles
Notify users they received access: If set to ON, users will get a notification when granted permission to access.
Notify users when new files are added: If set to ON, users will get a notification when new files are added into the asset group.
Allow history panel viewing: By setting it ON, users have privilege to view the history of other user interactions with these files.
Allow access panel viewing: By setting it ON, users have privilege to view who has access to the files and Asset Groups in the access panel.
Grant Access: Click on button to save the changes. Once saved, all the users added will receive the email notification.

You can also add access to asset groups by Access Role.
User Roles: Multiple user roles can be added to a Browse tag or Asset Group at one time
Can View : User Role has only view permission on the selected group or tag
Edit View: User Role can edit the files under the group or tag
