The File Info Panel displays details about the file itself, such as file name, file size, and when it was uploaded. CORE extracts embedded metadata from a file as it's uploaded. That information is displayed here.
To access the File Info Panel, click the File Info icon in the right sidebar.
CORE Tip: MD5 for Site Admins
MD5 is a unique identifier that is assigned to a file when upload has been completed. The function of the MD5 is to perform bit-level detection on each file to ensure file level de-duplication.
Troubleshooting
When troubleshooting playback, streaming or processing issues for a file you can find the MD5 here and provide this information to CORE support in order for us to expedite and identify the issue related to the file. When an MD5 is missing:
1. Reprocess it:
2. Rule of thumb is to wait 1 minute per Gb. If it isn't fixed, then contact Support to have the file reviewed.
3. A missing MD5 may also indicate that the upload wasn't complete. In that situation, re-upload the file.
