How to Create Packages from Other Packages

Often, CORE users will need to curate or aggregate assets from their packages into a new package.

To do this, users need to create a new empty package, review their existing packages, and use the plus button to add to the empty package.

Create a New Empty Package

From the top bar, click the package icon in the upper right and select the green +New button.

This will give you a menu to create a new package. In this example, we'll call it "Package from Packages."

This package name will now appear on the top menu bar because it is currently the active package.

Add Assets to the Empty Package

From the user inbox or sent box, select any package which contains assets to be added. The active package indicator on the top my disappear at this time, but it will return on later steps.

Hover over any asset and find the plus button. This will add it to the active package.

This step can be repeated on as many as packages as you like.

Find the Newly Prepared Package

To find the package just created go back to the main menu and click the package icon in the upper right. This brings up a new menu. Click "own" in this menu, and you fill find the package that has been created.

Create a New Package From Within Another Package

So you want to add the files you're looking at right now to a new package. Go to the Package icon in your right sidebar.

Now follow the same steps as above. Select the +New button.

Name and Create your package.

Select the + icon to add files to the package.

When you go back out to the inbox to select another file, you'll see your package is still active in the top bar. Choose another package in your Inbox to continue adding files to it.
