You can view your videos and other files that have been sent to you on Apple TV.

Set Up Instructions
NOTE: To login to Apple TV app, you must first accept, login, and set up your account on Core via your web browser.
Download the Core app on the Apple TV app store. Search Core Sohonet.
After opening the app you will be prompted to enter the Site Name. Get this information from your system administrator
Add the site name and select Enter.
You will be provided with three distinct methods to sign in:
1 - QR Code that can be scanned using your mobile device
2 - Unique URL that can be used to enter the secure 6-digit code
3 - Sign in Manually - allows users to sign in using their username and password via Apple TV
Option 1: Signing in with QR Code
On your phone or tablet, scan the QR provided on the set-up page
Use Username and Password (same as web browser login details) to log-in
Upon entering your credentials, you will be redirected to the set up confirmation page
Note: SSO / MFA users
If you have an SSO account, proceed to login with SSO. The same steps will apply here.
If you have MFA enabled on your account, you’ll be prompted to complete those steps as a part of your setup and login process.
Option 2: Signing in with Unique URL Code
Visit the URL link provided on the Apple TV screen
On your phone, tablet, or computer, enter the 6-digit code also shown on the Apple TV screen.
Follow the login directions, entering Username and Password
Upon successfully login you’ll receive the set up confirmation page
Note: SSO / MFA users
If you have an SSO account, proceed to login with SSO. The same steps will apply here.
If you have MFA enabled on your account, you’ll be prompted to complete those steps as a part of your setup and login process.
Option 3: Sign In Manually
If you select Sign In Manually - you will be redirected to enter your username and password (the same details used to log in via the browser).
NOTE: Manual sign in does not support SSO login. MFA users will be prompted to enter their 6-digit code.
MFA Login: Not Sure How?
When asked to enter your 6-digit code, go to the Authenticator App you used to set up your Core account.
Enter the code displayed for your Core account.
Shared Device Confirmation
Once you’ve successfully logged in - you will be prompted to confirm if the AppleTV device is shared.
On a shared device used by multiple Core user accounts, users will be prompted to login every time.
On a device used by one user account, you will be prompted to add a PIN for quick login the next time you use the app.
Please confirm if the Apple TV is a shared device.
Selecting YES will redirect you to your TVOS Dashboard
Selecting NO, you will be prompted to create a 4-digit PIN that can be used to log-in in the future
Logging In
When you return to the Core Apple TV app, select your site
If this is a shared device, proceed through your preferred login option.
If this is the only account using this Apple TV, use the same 4-digit PIN that you created during setup.
Managing Core Sites
If you have more than one site for Core, you can add another site through the same setup process.
Once you do, you can select which Site you would like to view
Removing/Re-adding Sites
To remove a site, select “Edit Sites”.
Choose “Remove”
Password Recovery
To recover your login credentials, go through the web browser.
If you have forgotten your 4-digit login PIN you will need to remove the site from the app and proceed through the setup process again. During that process you can create a new 4-digit login PIN.
App Controls
Use your Apple TV Remote to control the playback of your video.
Navigate and Play Content
Select a Package
In your Inbox, you will see the packages that have been sent to you. Each package will have a visual thumbnail, title, the name of the user who sent the package, the date the package was sent, and the number of files within the package. If there are any restrictions on this package, such as View Limits or Expiration/Start Date, they will also be shown here as well.
To navigate the screen, swipe up, down, left, or right on the remote’s touch surface. To select a package from your Inbox, hover over the package by swiping Up/Down to the correct package thumbnail then click the center of the touch surface to choose that package.
Select a Production
In the Inbox, click on the All Productions button to search/browse the productions you currently have access to.
Search Inbox
Click on the Search Inbox bar to search packages in your Inbox by keyword(s).
Timecode
Toggle Timecode OFF/ON to turn the visual timecode OFF/ON while viewing a video asset.
Dashboard Toggle (optional feature)
Some client environments have a Dashboard view in addition to an Inbox view. The Dashboard view is a visual way to filter your Inbox by Productions. Hover over the desired Production to see the packages associated with that production. The Dashboard toggle lets you switch from Dashboard view to Inbox view easily. Swipe Right/Left to toggle between your Dashboard and Inbox.

Asset Viewer
Once you have clicked on a package, it will open the package in the Asset Viewer. If the package was sent with AutoPlay set to OFF, the package will open the Playlist View where you can scroll left/right to choose which asset you would like to play.
If the package was sent with AutoPlay set to ON, the assets in the package will automatically start playing once you have clicked on the package until all videos have been viewed.
Play, Pause
To play or pause content, click the center of the touch surface OR press the Pause/Play button.
Fast Forward
Hold down the right edge of the touch surface during playback. Alternatively, press , then swipe right on the touch surface to track to a specific time code.
+10 sec - During playback, click the right edge of the touch surface.
Rewind
Hold down the left edge of the touch surface during playback. Alternatively, press , then swipe left on the touch surface to track to a specific time code.
-10 Sec - During playback, click the left edge of the touch surface.
Skip to Next File
During playback, swipe right on the touch surface to skip to the next file in a package. If there is only one asset or if you have reached the last video in the package, swiping right will bring you back to the Playlist view.
Back to Previous File
During playback, swipe left on the touch surface to jump to the previous file.
Swipe-Up Menu
Swipe up while viewing a video to bring up the new “Swipe-up” menu. The new menu lets you easily enable/disable Autoplay and Replay and to choose the available playback Speed and Quality options.
Please note: If the video scrub bar appears on the screen, swipe up and the Menu Icon will appear. Click on the icon to view your options.
Once the Menu is open you can choose from the following options:
Autoplay
Can be toggled on or off. When Autoplay is enabled, all of the video assets in the package will play through automatically without having to press Play for each video.
Speed
To choose your Speed options first click on the Speed option from the “Swipe-up” menu. This will bring up a detailed option menu that appears on the right side of the screen where you can choose from multiple options. You can choose any speed option that is available to each asset. Apple’s Safari player in tv OS supports 0.5x, 1x (default), and 2x speeds for most assets.
Quality
To choose playback quality, click on the Quality option from the Swipe-up menu to bring up a secondary menu that appears on the right side of the screen where you can choose from multiple options. Defaults to Auto (the Highest Quality that can be played based on your bandwidth) but you can also choose between Low or High.
Replay
Can be toggled on or off. If Replay is enabled and the video finishes playing, the same video will start playing from the beginning. When Replay is enabled, you are still able to swipe right to go to the next video or swipe left for the previous video.
Please note: Options are reset to default values every time a user opens a Package (from Inbox). Playback stream is paused as soon as the right Option Picker appears. Stream resumes playing RESPECTING selected option after Option Picker is dismissed.
Return to Playlist View
During playback, click the MENU button to return to the Playlist view. A list of file thumbnails will appear horizontally across the bottom of the screen. Swipe left/right to scroll through files. Click the center of the touch surface to select a file for playback.
Exit Package
Press the MENU button to return to the previous screen(s) and return to your Inbox.
Exit the App
To exit the app, continue to press the MENU button until you reach the Logout confirmation and then the Exit App confirmation pop-up. Choose Continue to exit the app and return to Apple TV menu.
Apple TV Troubleshooting HDMI HDCP Error
Use the steps below if you receive this error message - “This video can’t be played. It looks like your HDMI cable or connection doesn’t support HDCP, which is required to play this type of video. Try reconnecting the HDMI cable from Apple TV to your TV, and play this video again.”
You may receive this error if you are using an off brand HDMI cord or any other hardware that is not supported by Apple TV. Try testing a different cable and with a different TV, if available. We recommend trying other HDMI ports just to make sure all options are exhausted. We also recommend making sure your Apple TV is fully up-to-date.
Afterwards, go through the steps below:
Unplug the HDMI cable and firmly seat the cable on both ends.
Turn off the TV and receiver. Unplug the Apple TV from power, then plug it back in. Power on the TV and receiver.
In the TV menu, make sure HDMI is selected
Connect the Apple TV directly to the TV, if you're using any kind of receiver, switch or any mediary device being plugged between the TV and ATV.
On your Apple TV, go to: Settings > Video and Audio and adjust the HDMI and display settings.
Please note: If you have an Apple TV 4K, go to: Settings > Video & Audio > Check HDMI Connection > Check HDMI Connection.
