Updated over 4 months ago

Your company might implement MFA to safeguard your account. MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring multiple forms of verification to log in. These instructions will walk you through the simple process of logging in with MFA.

1. CORE Login Page

The first time you log in after setting up your new account, go to the Core login page, enter your User Name and Password, and click "Login".

At this point, you will be prompted to link your account with an MFA app.

2. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup: A Quick Guide

Your company requires MFA for added security. Here's a quick overview of the setup process, using Google Authenticator as an example. Be sure to follow any specific instructions provided by your company, as they may use a different MFA app.

  • Once you have activated your account, head to the Core login page and enter your credentials as usual.

  • You'll be prompted to set up your MFA app. This is a one-time step for added security.

  • Follow the instructions to link your MFA app to your account.

  • Scan & go! Use your MFA app to scan the QR code on the screen. Then, enter the six-digit code generated by your app, and click "Done."

That's it! You're all set with MFA. Now you can enjoy enhanced security for your account.

Google Authenticator Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing trouble with your Google Authenticator code and you are using an Android phone, it might be because the time on your Google Authenticator app is not synced correctly.

To make sure that you have the correct time:

  • Go to the main menu on the Google Authenticator app

  • Click Settings

  • Click Time correction for codes

  • Click Sync now

On the next screen, the app will confirm that the time has been synced, and you should now be able to use your verification codes to sign in. The sync will only affect the internal time of your Google Authenticator app on your Android phone, and will not change your device's Time and Date settings.
