Download Files

If you’ve been given permission to download a package, you can download the whole package or selected files within it. By default, CORE downloads files through Aspera. To bypass Aspera and download as Zip, see Download as Zip below.

  1. Download files by selecting the Download icon on your package.

  2. After selecting download, a panel will open. If you have download options, such as proxy resolutions or the source file, they’ll appear here, depending on the permissions you were given on the package.

  3. Go to the bottom of the panel, and select the Download button.

  4. Allow Aspera Connect to open and choose where your files will be downloaded.

  5. Follow the progress of your download in the Download Details page (you can find this again in Transfers) or Close the Download panel.

  6. You will find your completed downloads in the selected location.

Download as Zip

  1. Download files by selecting the Download icon on your package.

  2. Go to the message shown below and select it. It will highlight in blue when you do.

  3. Choose Download as Zip button.

  4. Follow the progress of your download in the Download Details page or Close. The Zip will be in your Downloads folder on completion.

Notes:

  1. When the files have completed downloading there is not a notification pop up. You’ll see a progress symbol in the bottom left corner of your CORE. Once the progress reaches 100%, check the destination folder you selected for your downloads.

  2. If you don’t see your download, you can go to Transfers in the main left menu. From the Downloading section, select your download and restart it.
