Watermarks appear on files displayed in the Asset Player, also called the Viewer.

The watermark a user sees is first determined by their user role. However, this may be overridden by a production watermark.

A production watermark applies a specific set of watermarks to all files associated with that production. So if a user has access to more than one production, they'll see their user role watermarks on all files related to other projects, and the production watermarks on the designated production.

In User Roles, and in user profiles where you want to apply overrides to role watermarks, you can view and select watermarks in:

1. User Roles' Role Info Tab on a role, then scroll to the bottom

2. User Profile Rules Override Tab, the Access Override Sub-Tab and scroll to the bottom

When productions request specific watermarks be applied to their projects, Admins can change those watermarks within the Admin Dashboard module Production Admin.

In the same place you apply the dashboard thumbnail for the production, you can also apply its watermark. These are the watermarks ALL users in the system will see when they access files tagged under that project or production.

In your Admin Dashboard, there's a Watermarks module. Here you'll find listed all watermarks within your system. If you have any custom watermarks, they'll also be listed here.

The watermark manager shows you a preview, the type of file it is associated with, the name of the watermark, and the filename of the watermark file.

If you need an alteration made to a watermark in your system. the color and opacity of the watermarks can be changed on existing watermark files. Anything else requires a customized watermark to be provided.
