In order to export comments on a file or files, files need to be added into a package first. The comments will be exported as a report in a form of a CSV document.
Only users with the permission to view Package Reports have access to export the comments. If you don't see the Reports icon shown below or the Download Discussion icon, you don't have access to report. In this case, contact your site administrator to request it.
Download from Discussion
You can download comments on a file or package directly from the Discussion panel, by selecting the Download Comments option. A CSV with assets and associated comments will download directly.
Download Package Report
To export comments from Reports:
Open the package whose comments you want to download
Select the Package Reports icon
Select Asset List with Comments
A CSV will automatically download
