Users, especially admins, may find that searching for a single particular asset by name only produces too many results. In this case, the search was for "French Classical." While that is the exact name of a asset tag, it is not appearing quickly.

Limiting Search Scope to a Production
The most common way to filter search results is to limit it to a particular production. It's important to note that if a user does not have view access to a production, those productions are already filtered out from the user's view. They will not be able to be selected for faceted filtering.
The first way to filter by production is to click on the File Search magnifying glass. This opens the browse tab on the left. Click the list of productions and searches will be limited to that production.
Another easy way to filter by production is the drop down production tab at the top. Where it normally says "All Productions" at top. A search field or a drop down can be used to select a particular production.
You can see what production the search is limited to in two places:
At the top of the screen at the production drop down.
In a grey tag above the file search results.
This constraint exists until it is removed. Be sure to remove by either select a different production from the top drop down or selecting "All Productions" in the top drop down. If you search while the production filter is active, it may return no results like in this screen shot below.
Exploring the Drop Down browser
File searching can also be further limited by categories and further sub-categories under any production. Clicking on the plus signs next to production name opens up more categories. Under there, more sub categories can be found and so on. This eventually goes down to a particular asset group. This asset group will appear empty if there are no results for the search with in it.
Using the Advanced Filter
If the additional search methods are needed, the Advanced Filter can filter on several other parameters. Examples are:

File Types
Asset Type
