There are a handful of notification types in CORE, the welcome email, package notifications, and file upload / ingest notifications. All notifications come as an email to the user's external email inbox. No notifications nor alerts are shown in CORE at this time.

Account Notifications: 1. Welcome to CORE Invitation Email
What it is and who receives it
Every user who is set up through CORE and CORE with MFA receives a welcome invitation to the system. SSO users currently do not receive an invitation, and should be notified through internal company communications to access CORE via their SSO.
Can it be configured or edited
Admins can edit the welcome message in the Configure Emails module of the Admin dashboard. For instruction how to modify it, go to Customize My System's Welcome Email.
When is it triggered
The invite is automatically triggered when the user is added to the system.
For users who have a specific Start Date enabled on their account, they will also receive the invite email when their account is created versus on their Start Date.
Admins can trigger a new notification to users closer to their start dates with the Force Password Reset button on their user profile.
For large batches of users, it is recommended that their accounts are added closer to their start dates.

Account Notifications: 2. Password Change
What it is and who receives it
When users change their password on first logging in or after reseting it, they'll receive a confirmation email letting them know it's changed.
Can it be configured or edited
These emails cannot be configured nor edited.
When is it triggered
The email is triggered automatically when the new password has been saved.
What it looks like from the recipient POV
This is a current version of the changed password notification.
Account Notifications: 3. Reset Password Request
What it is and who receives it
When users select the Forgot Password link on the Login page, they enter their email and trigger a password reset email notification.
Can it be configured or edited
These emails cannot be configured nor edited.
When is it triggered
The email is triggered automatically when the user submits their email address in Forgot Password feature.
What it looks like from the recipient POV
This is a current version of the reset password notification.
Package Notifications: 4. Package Received Email
What it is and who receives it
This notification lets users know they've received a package or a comment on a package.
It contains:
The Package Name as the Subject Line
Shows the other users on the package unless they've been hidden
Displays the sender's original message
Outlines the package types and settings
Provides a direct like to the package
Provides a downloadable link if downloading is enabled
Users on a package will receive a notification for every comment.
Can it be configured or edited
This email cannot be configured nor edited.
When is it triggered
The notification for the original message is automatically triggered when a package is sent.
Notifications for responses are also triggered automatically.
What it looks like from the recipient POV
This is a current version of CORE's package notification.
This is a current version of CORE's package notification containing a response to an original message.
Package Notifications: 5. Package Opened Email
What it is and who receives it
This notification type lets the sender of a package know when it's been opened by one of the package's recipients. This notification is an option in the package share settings and is only enabled if selected by the package sender.
Can it be configured or edited
This email cannot be configured nor edited.
When is it triggered
This notification email triggers automatically when a recipient opens the package within CORE. It will not trigger if the user has download permissions and downloads the files directly from the link in the email notification instead of opening and viewing the files in the package before downloading.

Package Notifications: 6. Files Ready for Download Notification
What it is and who receives it
This notification type lets a user on a package, who has initiated a download, know when their files are available to be downloaded.
Can it be configured or edited
This email cannot be configured nor edited.
When is it triggered
This notification email triggers automatically when the files in the package are processed and ready for download.
Source files will send a notification immediately.
Files requiring processing for watermarking will trigger a send after they've processed.

This is a current version of CORE's package opened and viewed notification.
User Role Notifications: 7. Email on Ingest of Files
What it is and who receives it
Admins can create rules in a User Role that trigger email notifications when files are ingested. To learn more about how to create such rules, see How to Add File Notification Rules to a User Role.
Can it be configured or edited
This email cannot be configured nor edited.
When is it triggered
When the parameters of the defined User Role Rule are met, an email will trigger.
If a user uploads a batch of files in one upload that meet this criteria, one email will be sent containing visibility to all the files uploaded.
If a user uploads several separate uploads, an email notification will be sent for each separate upload.

This is a current version of CORE's email on ingest notification.
User Role Notifications: 8. Notification of Status Change on File
What it is and who receives it
Admins can create rules in a User Role that trigger email notifications when file statuses are changed to meet certain criteria, such as Creatively Approved files are now visible to them.

Can it be configured or edited
This email cannot be configured nor edited.
When is it triggered
When the parameters of the defined User Role Rule are met, an email will trigger.
If a user edits the status tag on a batch of files that meet this criteria, one email will be sent containing visibility to all the files whose statuses were changed.
If a user changes several files individually to meet the rule criteria, an email notification will be sent for each separate upload.
What it looks like from the recipient POV
This is a current version of CORE's file status change notification.
In this case, the users within this User Role are able to view files within this Production (WWVW) that have the Creative Status Approved.
When the files were uploaded they had no Creative Status. When the Creative Status was updated to Approved, it triggered the below notification to the users within the User Role.
9. Live Room Invitation Notification
What it is and who receives it
This is an invitation to join a LIVE Room. The recipient receives the invitation email when they have been added to a LIVE Room by a LIVE Room administrator. While the email notification is an invitation, it currently comes in the form of a Package Notification.
The email subject line says [5th Kind] Package: NAME OF THE ROOM
The message says that the administrator has share a package with you for the ROOM NAME
The distinguishing indicator is the Package Type, which is listed as LIVE

When is it triggered
The invite is automatically triggered when the user is added to the LIVE Room.
