When downloading a PDF, CORE can watermark the document just as it would an image or video. For additional security, senders can apply a user specific password to a PDF.

Configure PDF Password

All users are given a pre-generated PDF password when their accounts are created.

Admins can configure an individual user's password. Users can change this on their own profiles too.

The field is called PDF password. To change it, delete the pre-generated default and add the desired password.

Important: This password is both stored and presented in an easily visible way. For this reason, the PDF password should always be different than a login password. Otherwise, the login password is compromised.
